MIS Solutions:
MIS Software for
Process Industries, is a PC based Information Management System that has an interface with the Level 1 OCS (open control system) and the Level3 System (Plant ERP System). MIS system can access the raw data from field devices like DCS/PLC using OPC/DDE methodologies.

Level 2 Solutions:
Level 2 System is a PC based Information management system for the Cold Rolling Mills and the Processing Lines of the Steel and Aluminum Industry.
The Level 2 system has got a direct interface between the Level 1 OCS (open control system) on the production floor and the plant ERP i.e. the Level 3 system.
Level 2 Systems eliminate the geographical and functional boundaries between the front office and the production floor. This provides a tremendous business advantages for the manufacturers to meet the demands with quality, speed and cost.
These systems provide means for the decision support in the plant through the functional applications
(e.g scheduling, Order management) and the Information systems (e.g. Downtime Management, roll shop management)
The level 2 system for CRM includes the Statistical Process Control System also. Statistical Process control system is a PC based Presetting and statistical reporting system.
The Interfacing to the Level 1 system is done through OPC. The direct interfacing to the Gauge system also done through Serial/ Modbus Serial or Modbus TCP.
The interfacing to the ERP database will be done using the DBLink ( if the database is Oracle) or the COM component available along with the ERP system
Cold Rolling Mill Level 2 System
The Level 2 System for CRM is an interfacing application between Level 1 OCS and the Level 3 Plant ERP System. The Level 2 system will get the PDI ( Primary Data input ) from the plant ERP System and
the level 2 the operator can schedule the execution of the coils. Before starting the process operator can download the
set points to the level 1 system. based on this the Mill can start up and process the coil, While processing the strip tracking system will record the running parameters. Once the process is over the Statistical Process Control system will take over and generate the required reports. The coil statistical report has got a Average and Range control charts as well as the Histogram which will display the distribution
