Automation Systems require essentially communicable low cost controllers that
sits on Pole-Tops, Distribution Transformers, Feeders etc., and with the
facility to monitor, control and provide remote communication over various
communication mechanism's including CDMA, GPRS, GSM, PSTN, Radio, Wi-Max,
Broad-band and so on.

Utility Gateway Products enable you to

cost-effectively for your distribution automation systems. The KIOG platform
enable OEMs to build and take to market quickly and cost effectively building on
top of the KIOG Platform. Expandable DI,
AI, DO channels on CANOpen which can be from any manufacturer, 1/2 Ethernet 10/100 Port and 4 Serial Interfacesand communication protocol support for DNP3 Serial, DNP3 Network,
IEC 60870-5-101, 104, 103, Modbus and IEC 61850.
The KIOG Platforms support the following functions:

Feeder/Pole Top/RMU
Intelligent Controller
- Provides Remote Control and
Monitoring for your Pole Tops, Feeders, RMU's and all other distributed
assets within your sub-station and across your distribution network. The IEC
61131 compatible programming engine supports download of interlock logic
where required or direct remote control from the DA Control Center.

Provides Digital Input,
Digital Output, Analog Input and Direct Current and Voltage Transformer
transducer Less Input over CANOpen.

the KPUG to connect to any remote device for settings, remote maintenance,
monitoring and control using their proprietary software.

Communications Adapter -
KIOG supports Kalki's proprietary
communication security adapter technology, which enables your IEC, DNP and
Modbus protocols to be encrypted before being sent out through the
communication channel.

Utility Gateway Protocol Support
In the following tables, Category �S� protocols are those that are already supported in the Kalki products. Category �C� protocols are those which must be custom implemented on Kalki products or protocols on implementation / testing phase
- ODBC connections to different databases are available.
- Other vendor specific protocols supported includes Altus Modbus master, CMC Master, EXCOM master, RTK Master, Sport Master & Triguard Peer to Peer Protocol.

The gateway comes with
a EasyConnect Configuration and Diagnostic's software. The same can be
downloaded from our download site for evaluation.
These tools are easy to use and offer both local and remote access to the
gateway configuration, security settings, log files, communication traces, and
system statistics.
