SYNC 600: Kalkitech's SYNC 600 series of MIC cards can be plugged into existing meter designs with minimal effort, to make it upgrade to the latest wireless as well as protocol technologies that are fast to become the norm in Smart Grid and AMR/ AMI implementations.
One of the most critical component of any AMR/ AMI is the metering Data Concentrator Unit. The DCU should not only support large storage capacity from numerous meters, it should also have enhanced security features, as well as interoperability with different meter and support for standard communication protocols. Metering DCUs today support different communication mediums including wired and wireless (RF, Zigbee, PLC) along with the latest application level protocols like DLMS/ COSEM and ANSI C12.19.

The core benefit of an AMR/ AMI project is realized through the control center applications and systems. The central system operates based on automatic scheduled tasks as well as on manual intervention via Graphical User Interfaces (GUI). Configuration data, instantaneous process/ status values and profile/ historic information acquired from the meters are historically stored in a relational database. This database enables access from central system application software as well as from external systems and programs.

- SYNC 5000: Kalkitech's SYNC 5000 is a high end MDAS for Grid Metering as well as LT consumer Metering, as well as Demand side Management and Network Management. It has a wide range of standards based interface including DLMS and web services and supports up to 100,000 Consumer meters with three hours schedule for 120 days (Grid metering for 5000meters with 10 sec schedule for 120 days).
- SYNC 6500: DLMS Explorer: Kalkitech DLMS Explorer is a Windows based DLMS/ COSEM Client application with OPC Data access V3.0 Server interface encapsulating a full-fledged DLMS/ COSEM Client driver, with multi-channel and multi-device capabilities. Purpose of the tool is to communicate with the DLMS-COSEM compliant meters and convert the data to OPC format.
