KSGL Gateway is a protocol
converter and data concentrator, that can be deployed in your existing utility
automation, sub-stations automation, industrial automation, remote monitoring,
RMU automation, pole top RTU's and AMR applications. It can be used to integrate
your existing IED's in sub-station to the newer standard protocols. The KSGL supports protocols
like IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 60870-5-103, DNP3, IEC 61850, UCA 2.0,
Modbus, ABB SPA, ABB RP570, ICCP/TASE.2, Areva Courier, GE SRTP etc., on any of

Protocol Converter and Gateway supports Ethernet and serial communication
channels and a large software library of RTU/IED communication protocols. This
product is ideal for acting as front-end servers, large data concentrators in

Enterprise Integration
using standards based integration schema's and industry standards like CIM (IEC
61968/61970), GID,
SP-95 etc., form the key platform for Kalki's long term vision of a convergence
domain of control, communication and computing. Kalki works towards this goal by
working towards developing products and solutions in the Enterprise Integration
space in the Power and Manufacturing industries. Utility Integration Bus (UIB)
is one such product from Kalki's partners which enables enterprise integration.
Kalki uses extensively its Protocol Gateway with IBM MQ and XML based messaging to
achieve bus based integration of enterprise assets.

Protocol Libraries
Kalki provides protocol source code libraries and implementation services for
standard based protocols in partnership with our partners. Kalki also
partners with a host of other protocol hardware and software providers to
provide turnkey package implementations for OEM's and end-customers.
The protocol source code libraries that are
currently available include:
- DLMS / IEC 62056
- IEEE C37.118 (PMU Communication Protocol)
- IEC 61850
- ICCP/TASE.2
We
provide OPC Interfaces for most of the standard protocols to be interfaced with
your SCADA/DCS applications. These solutions may be custom built for your
requirements, or shall be provided using off-the shelf components.
