Testing and Validation
Kalkitech helps major OEMs to outsource their testing and validation part of project development. Inhouse team of experts at Kalkitech, with many years of experience helps the equipment manufacturers to take this burden off their developers and helps them focus on their core competencies. Such a third party testing mechanism also imparts a very high level industry standard, thereby making the final product conform to any required stringent norms. Testing and Validation services can be provided to equipment manufacturers like meter manufacturers, relay manufacturers, gateway manufacturers, SCADA manufacturers amongst others.
Kalkitech mode of operation for executing the testing and validation project may be onsite / onshore / offshore, based on client requirements. Typically a testing project consists of the following major phases:
- Setting up the Test Environment
- Execution of Test cases
- Logging of detected issues
- Verification of resolved issues
- Detailed Test report for each of the iteration of the test
- Updated Bugzilla / bug tracker
- Verification report after revalidation
Kalkitech follows a well-defined Project Management Life Cycle that leverages our experience in handling large projects. The project management process has been developed to address all the risks and needs to be attached to a remote execution and virtual team model, where in teams work from different locations. Kalkitech provides a web based project monitoring and tracking solution to its clients and has robust and well defined status reporting mechanism in place. Besides providing periodic Status Reports, Kalkitech also provides Project Realization Checkpoint Reports to provide an in-depth view of the health of the project. These mechanisms have proven to be very effective in projects that Kalkitech has undertaken till date.
